Delivery/Installation Apprentice Summary:

The Delivery/Installation Apprentice is responsible for providing our customers with knowledge and expertise during the delivery and installation process. Our delivery and installation professionals are the main and FINAL point of contact with the customer, and for this reason, EXCELLENT customer service skills are crucial! The Delivery/Installation Apprentice will report to the Director of Operations and work out of our Brunswick Distribution Center.

Duties & Responsibilities:

● Ensuring correct models are loaded each morning and that models are safely and correctly secured in the box truck.

● Create a great customer experience by offering outstanding customer service while carefully delivering, installing, and removing appliances in customer’s homes.

● Following the daily scheduled route, ensuring customers are updated if a delivery is running late or an issue arises.

● Observe, test, and document operation of appliance per company standards.

● Document job site conditions and notate any damages upon arrival and departure using the company provided electronic device.

● Inventory control including proper tracking and documentation of appliances and used parts.

● Following and ensuring helper follows all safety protocols before, during and after installation.

● Ensuring every customer’s home is treated respectfully and that the work space is left clean and tidy.

● General maintenance and cleanliness of trucks.

● Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

● Outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills and can-do attitude.

● Effective verbal and written communication skills.

● Hard working and motivated while focused on contributing to our company’s success.

● Technical aptitude and ability to use tools properly.

● Professional appearance and demeanor.

● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check and drug test (CDL not required).

● Physically able to lift and move heavy items.

Job Type & Compensation:

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8a-5p

Overtime as necessary

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 an hour ($41,600-$49,920 annual)

Eligible for bonus based on performance
