Delivery Driver Job at Heritage Landscape Supply Group
Irrigation Station in Aledo Tx, a partner of Heritage Landscaping Supply Group, is seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual that is a team player.
This full-time Non-CDL Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering
products to customers, branches, and vendors. The workweek is Monday through Friday 7am-4pm. Saturday 7-11 with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- An eye for safety including vehicle inspections, load securement, and general rules of the road.
- Loading, unloading, and staging orders in a warehouse/jobsite environment.
- Delivering to customer sites and branch locations and unloading products as needed.
- Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.
- Other related duties as assigned, such as stocking, order entry, shipping/receiving, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- NON-CDL (Class C) License
- Acceptable driving record
- Basic computer knowledge, keyboard (typing), mouse, Internet use
- Forklift experience helpful
- (Other type of truck experience ie: Flatbed, Moffett, Donkey, etc.)
- Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license that meets all legal and company insurance requirements and adhere to all safe driving techniques and laws.
- Bilingual is helpful
