About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist I. This role will report to Senior Data Scientist and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization, as well as the ability to work with large and complex data sets. The Data Scientist I will be responsible for using data and analytics to drive strategic decision making and support business objectives within the healthcare industry.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to support ACO initiatives
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and build predictive models to support decision making
- Clean, process, and validate large and complex datasets related to ACOs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and concise manner
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data science, with a focus on Healthcare and ACOs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on healthcare data
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools
- Expertise with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Strong Python programming skills is a must have
- Strong experience with Databricks
- Experience delivering metrics in a modern analytic environment (e.g., sharing Excel reports with executives, presenting Jupyter Notebooks, PowerBI, etc.)

- Extensive experience in conducting analytics with claims and EMR/EHR data
- Extensive proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or SAS while analyzing large datasets

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position is based remotely in the U.S.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
