Job Overview:

This position maintains electronic records for the OPI School Nutrition Programs sponsor agreements. This position ensures that records and data management are compliant with federal and state requirements. This position develops and enhances data collection and reporting systems to facilitate and maintain integrated data systems. This position participates in all aspects of the system development lifecycle, except for coding business process analysis, system analysis, requirements, design, testing, documentation, training, and production system support. This position also uses systems data to prepare federal reports and analyze program information. This knowledge of federal regulations as well as systems design and operations, this position provides technical assistance and direction to program participants in initialization and management of data to assist with the required processes and report forms and systems.

Knowledge and Skills required to perform the job:

This position requires:

  • Knowledge of system development lifecycle processes; project management; requirements management; test methods; integrated systems; interfaces; computer system database and spreadsheet reporting.
  • Knowledge of analysis and data manipulation tools; word processing software; presentation software; program management concepts; business communications.
  • Skilled in English, spelling, composition, and grammar; common math and statistical tools.
  • Skilled in customer service practices, and office procedures.
  • Skilled in use of office equipment, databases, spreadsheets, presentations, email, Internet, and word processing computer applications.
  • Skilled in learning and applying rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of program.
  • Skilled in gathering, analyzing, assembling and present numerical data and narrative information.
  • Skilled to prioritize assignments and work under the stress and pressure of deadlines.
  • Skilled in organizing and completing detailed work and solving practical problems.
  • Skilled to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Meet minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in a business or public agency working with computerized data systems, performing customer service, and providing technical program support.
  • Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
