Approved Transportation and Warehousing, Ltd. has an immediate opening for a qualified Data Entry Clerk to support our Accounting Team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented with 1 year of data entry in a high-volume environment. To apply for this position, please reply to this ad.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collecting information from customers and clients
• Entering data into the central database
• Cataloguing the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference
• Transferring physical records into a digital filing system
• Retrieving data as requested
• Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary
• Communicating with customers/Team members
• Uploading documents into a database

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Basic accounting knowledge and excellent data entry skills required
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexibility with work schedule
• Excellent attendance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• 1+ years’ experience in data entry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and typing on a computer
