Job Title: Customer Support Advocate
Department: Operations- Claims Customer Support
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Customer Support Advocate who will assist with heavy call volume and claim inquiries. Their role is to answer all questions and concerns the caller presents, but also to focus on ensuring that the providers claim issues are handled timely and accurately.

What You'll Do:
Answer all daily telephone calls providers, health plans, insurance brokers, collection agents and hospitals.
• Elicit information from providers including the problem or concerns. • Research and resolve authorizations, claims, eligibility, concerns and resolve. If unable to resolve, refer to management for resolution.
• All calls carefully documented into Company’s customer service module.
• Assist Supervisor and Manager with other duties as assigned.
• Provider outreach communications via email or telephone.
• Assistance to other departments when back up is required; marketing event participation.
• Able to provide quality service to the customers.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers in a professional and respectful manner.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality at all times.
• Specialist termination notifications sent to providers.
• Urgent Medicare/ Medi-cal Authorization Approval – Notification to Utilization Department.
• All other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED- Experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working in customer service

- This position is in office. The office is located at 1600 Corporate Center Dr., Monterey Park, CA 91754
- The Target pay range for this role is $16.50- $28.50. This salary range represents national target range for this role.
