What’s a typical day as a
You’ll be?

• The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for the customer. The CSR assists customers with basic functions during their office visit by delivering information to customers related to taxes, titles, licenses, permits, birth certificates, procedures, forms, or other issues.
• The CSR responds to routine questions and may research problems and initiates problem resolution/escalation efforts.

• The CSR performs general clerical tasks, which may include recording/relaying messages, typing documents, making copies, sending/receiving faxes, distributing documentation, or filing documentation.
• The CSR Performs data entry functions by keying data into computer system, enters, retrieves, reviews or may modify data in various computer databases, verifies accuracy of entered data, and makes corrections as needed.
• The CSR monitors inventory of forms, ensures availability of adequate materials to conduct work activities, initiates requests for new/replacement materials, replenishes supplies at workstations, and maintains accuracy and security of inventory.
• The CSR may process payments including electronic payments as well as cash handling.
• The CSR may process incoming departmental mail by receiving, sorting, dating and
  distributing mail to appropriate individuals or departments
• The CSR also aids other employees, departments, and offices as needed and instructed by the supervisor.

Education Requirements :

• High School Diploma / GED / equivalent education or experience.

Experience Requirements :

• Previous motor vehicle and driver license processing experience preferred

• Bilingual Spanish / English is an advantage in this position.
