Curtze Foodservice is looking for a Customer Service Representative to foster and maintain relationships by providing a variety of services, solutions, and support to existing customers, vendors, district sales representatives, and other staff members. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail-oriented, able to operate in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask, have excellent communication skills, proficient with computers, and able to adapt to new software programs with ease. Monday through Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. with required rotating weekend coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Providing a pleasant and professional interaction with customers, vendors, sales representatives, and other staff members by phone, email, and fax
• Receiving and processing small and large orders for products, literature, and promotions
• Entering data on a computer for customer orders, shipments, payment applications, and order tracking
• Following up to ensure customer service expectations are met
• Building relationships with the customer base
• Managing a database for customer invoices, accounts receivable, and promotional activity
• Resolving customer issues
• Utilizing in-depth product knowledge to answer more specialized calls

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

• 2 years or more of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a similar company
• Computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Business Management
• Management experience
• Inside sales experience

Shift:

Monday through Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. with one Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. per month
