Customer Relations Analyst (Contract) Job at ENGIE

The Customer Relations Analyst I navigates up to eight (8) systems to research and resolve internal/external customer inquiries and requests. The analyst must be able to absorb and recall new information quickly and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change.

The analyst must be capable of working both independently and in a team environment, alongside communicating cross-functionally with team members in Customer Operations and Sales. The candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an acute sense of urgency, and be an effective communicator with exceptional writing skills.


This is a CONTRACT POSITION.

Your employment will be held by a third-party company of ENGIE’s choosing. Any offered contract role will not constitute an offer for nor guarantee of future employment with ENGIE.

What you’ll do:

  • Research and compose inbound and outbound communications to both internal and external customers to resolve their inquiries and requests, while meeting service level timeframes.
  • Inquiries and requests will surround servicing customer accounts such as transaction research, service requests, sales requests, sales/broker support, utility related issues, reporting, account balance and payment information, updating account information, assisting with the customer portal.
  • Recognize and escalate system issues or process gaps that could negatively impact the customer experience.

What you bring:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with possible overtime and heavy multi-tasking
  • Strong computer navigation skills to enable navigation of multiple systems of record for research
  • Customer service experience dealing with sales staff and end use customers
  • Pristine attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple customer cases, promptly and with high-accuracy.
  • Minimum of 3 years in the Retail Electric Provider ‘REP’ industry, Commercial segment preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERCOT and Non-ERCOT Markets (PJM, MISO, NYISO)
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, as the primary method of customer communication is via email and phone.
  • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM.
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements, including commuting to the Houston office one day per week.
