Snelling is currently recruiting for an Exceptional Utility/Custodian candidate for a company in the Helena, AL area. This candidate must be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and a team -player. The starting pay for this position is $17.00 an hour, with a 1st shift schedule, Monday -Friday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm.

Job Description for Utility Associate:
  • Cleaning the steel before transporting it to the fitting or paint department
  • Sorting and pulling steel by part numbers to be loaded onto the pallet jack
  • Experience with reading a tape measure
  • Handles, transports, and processes product and materials
Custodian:
  • Cleaning offices and warehouse floors
  • Sweeping, mopping, sanitizing
  • Cleaning bathroom
  • Taking out the trash
  • Other duties may be assigned
Experience:
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane
  • Must be able to handle basic hand tools
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Excellent safety and attendance record
  • Self-motivated
