The Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES), a field station of the College of Natural Resources at UW-Stevens Point, is hiring a Part-Time Custodian. Under general oversight by the Facilities Manager, the Custodian is responsible for assisting with cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds at CWES. This position will assist with preparing facilities for visiting groups as directed by supervisor. This is a 0.5 FTE position, working approximately 20 hours/week. Schedule will generally be 6:00am-10:30am Monday-Friday; occasional weekend and evening shifts are required and shared with other maintenance employees.
Required Qualifications:
· 1 year cleaning/maintenance experience
· Experience in customer service
· Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Ability to develop a thorough understanding of University of Wisconsin and UWSP administrative policies/procedures.
· Demonstrated problem solving skill
· Detail and quality oriented
· Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team
