Position Summary:
Provides quality care to patients and their families by assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, evaluating and revising direct patient care and education under the supervision of an experienced Registered Nurse. Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Practices and models nursing professionalism through leadership, communication, education and participation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- B.S.N or B.A. preferred
License/Certifications:
- California Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- 5 years acute care experience preferred
