Position Summary:

This entry level position implements and monitors corrosion control programs and integrity projects on assets including, but not limited to pipelines, wells, production facilities and processing plants in order to prevent corrosion on equipment and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations.

Job Duties:

• Assists in the internal and external corrosion prevention efforts and programs
• Assists in Federal and State audit efforts and programs
• Provides appropriate technical guidance and remedial action recommendations for all corrosioin issues/requests
• Insures that deï¬�ciencies are effectively corrected within a timely manner
• Manage all required corrosion related documentation
• Assists corrosion prevention projects as assigned
• Assists with the development and maintenance of corrosion prevention projects budgets and report status to management as required
• Attends NACE Certiï¬�cation classes for NACE CP Technician or Corrosion Technologist and Internal Corrosion Technologist
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Knowledge of the various Federal and State pipeline regulations including corrosion control and industry standards
• Knowledge and practical working experience in pipeline corrosion prevention methods
