Hiring for Correctional Officer 1 positions for the Georgia Department of Corrections at Smith State Prison. This is a Great Career Opportunity with Great Benefits. Starting pay is $41,844-$46,028. No experience needed-all training will be provided.
This Correctional Officer 1 (CSM) position is assigned to work at a Close or Special Mission Prison at Smith State Prison. Correctional Officer 1 (CSM) Qualification: High school diploma or GED AND any combination of training and experience which would enable the applicant to meet the minimum standards of the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.). Preferred
Minimum Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age, US Citizenship, No Felony Convictions or Misdemeanor of Domestic Violence, Must be able to pass a drug test and Physical Exam and you must have a valid Driver's license.
