MANAGER OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Security Manager of Training & Development to join our organization in Miami and Broward County, FL. In this role, one will be responsible for revamping and rolling out a security training and development program for Kent Security Services. The Corporate Trainer will own the organizations Security Service Academy program to ensure high levels of support are being provided to clients and guards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop standardized corporate training program and framework to generate higher productivity and safety among employees
- Responsible for instructing new officers in the 16 hour orientation class and administering comprehensive test after completion of the course.
- Responsible for creating lesson plans, training modules, and professional development curriculum.
- Ensure that the organizations core values and member-centric approach is being rolled out and implemented by all internal employees
- Responsible for post inspections and site visits when not instructing. Also administer remedial training to all officers on post.
-Leads weekly Professional Development classes with Operation Managers, Recruiters, and Directors of Security.
- Build out a network of dedicated trainers throughout the organization who will serve as department specific subject matter experts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Security management or law enforcement experience
- Experience in corporate training roles
- Proven track record of managing and implementing these programs
- Passion for training and supporting employees
- Ability to work collectively across different business units
- Highly organized and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a dynamic work environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
