The community you’ll be caring for:

• Join a family of caregivers focused on whole-person health and committed to making communities healthier.
• Provide wholistic care for patients that extends to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families. Chaplains are available to meet with patients, families and team members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide spiritual support.
• Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Women’s Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

The role you’ll contribute:

Prepares food in compliance with guidelines and standardized recipes.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Cooks, prepares, and seasons soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments

Reviews menu and special orders to determine type and quantity of food items to be prepared

Follows cooking schedule and ensures food is ready at specified times. Confers with Supervisor personnel regarding modified diet preparation and use of leftovers

Prepare food in accordance with all governmental, sanitary, and dietary regulations as well as established policies and procedures

Informs manager of any equipment malfunctions, problems with food quantity or quality, inefficient procedures or workflow, and supplies department with forms comply with personnel

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

High School Education or equivalent

One year of technical experience

Knowledge about working in the food industry

Ability to cook precisely and efficiently. Should be able to make decisions and multi-task under pressure

Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English and understand food service terms

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
