Contract Billing Specialist Job at Hiller Companies
The Hiller Companies, LLC a national leader in the Fire Protection and Security industry, has an immediate opening for an individual experienced in Construction and Contract Billing for our office in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Salary Range: $22.00- $24.00
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Managing new customer setups
- Setting up new jobs in Finance System and distributing work packages.
- Updating budgets and billing into our JDE financial software platform daily.
- Communication with project managers to obtain billing progress and submitting billing utilizing AIA format to invoice contractor customers.
- Answers phones and responds to customers as needed.
- Filing
Required Qualifications:
- Previous data entry and/or billing experience.
- Experience with AIA contract billing for construction industry
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of PC programs such as Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to multitask and be flexible to meet customer demands.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work well with others and be a TEAM player.
Other:
- MUST have minimum high school diploma/GED
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- Must be on time and dedicated to good work performance.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule
