Due to the continued growth of LiRo managing disaster recovery projects, we are seeking Construction Professionals to work on an ongoing, long-term recovery in Florida.

Open Positions include: Construction Project Managers, Case Managers, Construction Estimators and Schedulers.
Responsibilities:

Construction Project Managers:

  • Direct communication with the client
  • Manage personnel, budget and administration
  • Track and report on various construction statuses on a weekly basis
  • Provide technical construction assistance
  • Oversee all phases of construction from conception through completion at multiple sites
  • Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance
  • Coordinate the work of numerous contractors, provide progress reports and manage the change order process

Case Managers:
  • Assist applicants applying for housing recovery assistance related to storm damage which includes reviewing eligibility and applicant documentation, and discussing assistance programs
  • Act as sole Point of Contact for applicants throughout the intake, property assessment and renovation/ rebuilding of property
  • Brief applicants on application process and requirements in obtaining assessments on the cost of reconstruction and repairs
  • Continually update case files and keep applicants abreast of status and progress of work being done until final completion of construction
  • Refer applicants to additional services such as counseling regarding financial, legal or other special needs
  • Provide ongoing assistance on all aspects of housing recovery program
Schedulers:
  • Create and baseline project CPM schedules with integrated data from project execution plans and stakeholder input
  • Update, analyze, and report project CPM schedules each month according to baselines and integrated change control
  • Incorporate and update schedule details for planned, accrued, actual, and forecast data each month
  • Interface with engineering and construction management to obtain and verify schedule status updates of their activities progress, accrual, actual, and forecast data
  • Collaborate with the project management team to determine the corrective, preventative, or opportunity actions to take in response to schedule variances each month
  • Reconcile past accrued and forecast estimates with actual data each month for projects in various phases of development
  • Organize and archive project schedule data for future use by the organization


Construction Estimators:
  • Determine labor and equipment costs
  • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
  • Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks
  • Understand project logistics and project schedule
  • Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team
  • Actively perform pre-construction duties and participate in meetings with Clients, Owners, and Engineers
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on construction projects is required
  • Prior disaster recovery experience and knowledge of FEMA and CDBG-DR requirements a big plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification
  • Able to live in Florida for an extended period of time

Selected candidates will be provided with a per diem and periodic travel home during the assignment.
