Construction Laborers & Helpers needed for full-time positions in the Des Moines, IA area!
Trillium Construction is immediately hiring a full-time Construction Laborers & Helpers to assist other tradespeople, mostly with carpentry and concrete work, and well as basic construction. Laborers will perform tasks including but not limited to site cleanup, digging, demolition, material moving, bracing installation, and other tasks with basic hand tools.
Ideal candidates will have a willingness to learn the trades, be reliable, have customer service skills, and are seeking a long-term position with an industry leading contractor.
Additional details will be provided during initial phone screening.
Work schedule is Mon - Fri, with occasional weekends as needed. Typical working hours are 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with possible overtime or longer worker days based on project needs.
Pay is $18 - $28 per hour, depending on experience. Per diem is not currently offered. Medical insurances, 401k, paid time off, holiday pay, and additional employee benefits are available.

- 6+ months of construction experience or similar
- Basic hand tools preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must be physically able to perform job duties to include lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass any pre-employment screenings
