Holiday Inn - Columbia River is a full-service convention hotel located on the banks of the Columbia River. We’re now seeking an experienced commercial Construction Laborer for a hotel remodel in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

• Some experience in Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, repair and replacement experience (knowledge and experience of all these trades is a plus, but not required).

• Some jobs may have specific working hours, but many may be completed on a flexible schedule.

• Able to use a work checklist and communication well with team members to effectively complete work.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

• Must have reliable transportation to haul tools and basic materials and willing to drive to different jobs on a daily basis if required.

• Must be able to work with other team members and take direction from the Lead. Most jobs will be scoped with a clearly defined list of tasks that must be completed 100% without exception.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of construction experience

• Ability to read and understand architectural plans and specifications.

• Knowledge of and ability to use small hand and power tools a plus

• Familiarity with construction sites.

• Experience working in all weather conditions.

• 1 year of construction experience

• Capable of performing physical labor to include: Carrying, lifting, and moving equipment, materials, and tools up to 50-70 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old with a valid ID
