The Opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is looking for a Conferral Coordinator for the Office of the University Registrar. The Conferral Coordinator will contribute to the efficient operation of the Conferral Team and report to the Senior Assistant Registrar for Conferral. You will review reports and other tools used as quality checks for data integrity. You will ensure best practices, which includes application of available tools. The Conferral Coordinator will participate in the implementation and maintenance of procedures. You will communicate procedures to multiple SNHU members. The typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM ET with flexibility to meet business demands. This is a year-round position.

The Coordinator I will be responsible for a specific population of students at a single academic level:
- Conduct 1st audits on academic records for students who are close to program completion
- Record and update the students' remaining program requirements
- Provide data entry support to the team by processing updates from reports
- Process diploma name and address changes and other basic requests
- Adjust program evaluations to account for credit deficits and residency issues
- Deliver student service while serving on the "front lines" of the main Registrar telephone line as a periodic "Go to Person" (G2P)
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Have an Associate degree from an accredited college or university and the equivalence of relevant work experience
- Ability to exercise good judgment and work with minimal supervision (self-directed)
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, administrative, leadership, and decision-making skills to work individually and coordinate activities with other areas
- Ability to prioritize work, perform well under pressure, and maintain productivity despite constant interruptions
- Strong computer and technical skills, such as MS Office suite, and familiarity with Student Information Systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing academic records and evaluation
- Demonstrated experience working with technological platforms used in the Office of the University Registrar
- 1-2 years of experience in higher education, preferably in a Registrar's Office
