KSE is currently looking for a Concrete Lab Director for their Mt Arlington, NJ location.

Reports to: Full Time Position at Mt. Arlington, NJ Lab/Office

• Site visits based on client/project/company needs

Technical Responsibilities:

• Professionally qualified with documented work experience supervising all technical function of the lab relating to testing of concrete, soil, and other construction materials.
• Responsible for staff oversight, testing, reporting and stamping reporting for clients and NYC DOB Technical Report forms (TR)
• Maintain and add our accreditation scope for AASTO, CCRL and other accreditation agencies.
• Maintains Successful Client relation (Technical).

• Directs the activities of sub-consultants and other KSE Departments.
• Is proficient in software required to complete assigned projects.
• Responsive to Client and other KSE Managers/needs.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Identifies out-of-scope work.
• Familiar with all company policies and procedures and verifies implementation and compliance.
• Completes time sheet on a daily basis.
• Verifies that assigned staff has been provided correct time charge information.
• Develops and/or assists in developing training program for staff.

Professional Licenses/Registrations:

• PE/RA in state of NY & NJ
• ACI Concrete Field Technician – Grade I
• ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician – Level 1 (Concrete Strength Testing Technician & Aggregate Testing Technician)
• ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician – Level 2

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in concrete material Testing and Inspection of Concrete Materials as per RCNY 101-07.

Professional Development:

• Actively participates in professional societies, industry organizations, and local civic organizations.
• Encourages the staff to participate in professional societies, industry organizations, and local civic organizations.
• Encourages professional development and training and licensing (self and staff).
