Responsibilities:

Assist in the plan and execution of construction activities on various sized concrete projects ranging from $10,000 to $1 million. Work directly with foreman to excavation, re-steel, form-work, and concrete placement geared towards industrial foundation construction. Typical Pits & Concrete crew size is 2-4 individuals.

• Assist Foreman and learn all aspects of the job
• Operate skid steer, excavator, trowel machines and dump trucks
• Place and finish concrete walls and slabs
• Pull straight-edge, bullfloat, edge, apply steel trowel, and broom finishes
• Stage and setup equipment and materials needed on the job
• Perform daily jobsite cleanup
• Responsible for safety in all aspects of work
• Assist with trowel machine operation
• Assist in assembling Symon brand form panels
• Assist with job layout
• Travel to job sites with their Foreman

Requirements:

• Flat-work/Finishing experience beneficial but not required
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, squatting frequently
• Follow Foreman’s instructions
• Lift, carry, and maneuver 1-100 lbs
• Overhead work
• Half to full extension of arms
• Standing for extended periods of time – 4 - 8 hours
• Previous wall forming experience beneficial but not required
• Experience with re-steel beneficial but not required
• Layout experience beneficial but not required
• Valid Driver's License - Class A beneficial but not required
