Concierge Job at Silverado Resort and Spa
Salary Range - $23.00 - $25.00/hour. The Concierge is responsible for providing personalized service to all guests. The individual must be able to answer guests’ questions about Napa Valley Attractions and local events, make restaurant, wineries, and transportation reservations, have a thorough knowledge of the resorts’ facilities.
- Offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all guests
- Initiate conversations with guests, which identify personal preferences in order to create personalized service.
- Have an in depth knowledge or access to information regarding directions, travel time, cost and various forms of transportation.
- Maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about local events.
- Be knowledgeable of all VIP arriving guests
- Be aware of all daily events in the hotel
- Arrange tickets for various attractions as necessary.
- Make and confirm dining reservations
- Make and confirm all transportation arrangements with contracted limousine company
- Communicate all important details to management and colleagues, throughout the hotel
- Disseminate information of relevance within the department
- Must have strong communication skills and able to deal with various types of guests.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized desk
- Have a thorough knowledge of direction to various destinations within Napa Valley.
- Provide clear directions for all guests travelling outside the hotel
- Respond to all guest requests within timely manner.
- Other activities, and responsibilities, as instructed by the Management.
