Concessions Job at The Common Man | Great American Dining
Summary/Objective
This position plays a major role in a guest's overall theatre experience. A concession person must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A concession person should be organized and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.
Essential Functions
Make certain guest service is friendly, helpful and fast- Make popcorn, pour drinks and serve food and other specialty items and sell retail
- Greet guests, assemble food orders, operate point-of-sale terminals and make accurate change
- Keep product fully stocked and ready for sale
- Maintain cleanliness of entire concession stand including cooking equipment, counters, shelves, glass display cases, condiment areas, preparation areas and stock rooms
- Perform daily concession maintenance duties
- Answer questions from guests and resolve any concerns
- Assist with breakdown and overall cleanliness following a show
- Assist with other functions as instructed by the Manager
- Uphold Common Man’s high standards and deliver wow service
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires evening hours and can be late night and frequent weekend work.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED.
Prior experience working in a theatre.
Basic knowledge of beer, and wine
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older.
- Must maintain an a team certification
