PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a
Computer User Support Specialist (Junior) to support our government customer in St. Inigoes, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting more senior personnel and/or performing functional duties under the
oversight of more senior personnel
- Provide desktop maintenance and help desk efforts for CI&IDS ISEA such as the repair, sustainment, and maintenance of CI&IDS operational systems.
- Provide support desktop maintenance and help desk efforts for in-production CI&IDS systems, including production, modification, retrofit, and modernization of CI&IDS projects.
- The ability to perform help desk, desktop, and user support for the CI&IDS Division’s RDT&E users.
- Provide trouble report resolution and POA&M plans for trouble reports left unresolved for more than five (5) business days.
- Perform their day-to-day job functions, ensuring RDT&E assets assigned to users are operational and available for use by the users.
- Understanding of troubleshooting failures to the main component level of the system (examples include, motherboard, video, hard drive, CD-ROM drive, network adapter, etc.) and recommend course for corrective action.
- Support the replacement of failed systems from on-hand Government stock if a system fails and cannot be resolved within five (5) business days and will provide input to the Government to maintain parts and system utilized in the corrective maintenance process.
- Monitor trends in problems/issues reported in order to maximize on opportunities for continual service improvement
- Good Customer Service with Strong communication Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Less than three (3) years of experience performing work related to the functions in the job description
- Has an active Top-Secret Security Clearance with SSBI
- Must be able to obtain the Security+ and OS Certifications within 30 days of hire
