Job Summary

The software technician duplicates software for, packages and ships AGS software shipments in compliance with shipping regulations to AGS customers.

Responsibilities

• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
• Assists regulators in the field verification of AGS software as outlined in product certification reports issued by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), BMM and other independent testing laboratories
• Assists AGS technicians in the proper installation and troubleshooting of AGS hardware and software products including: Atlas gaming software, Bluberi software and gaming boards, SATADOMs, EPROMS, SSDs, CF Cards, SIMM chips, and SAM cards
• Works closely with AGS Shipping Compliance in assuring regulatory compliance of all AGS software shipments
• Monitors and maintains accuracy of software and shipment information via various AGS productivity and workflow management tools
• Tracks inventory items in NAV
• Duplicates, verifies and packages AGS software by utilizing the following hardware and software: Kobetron Gaming Investigator, Kobetron Verify Plus, GLI Access, BMM BOAT, BMM Signatures Tool, Eagle Check, AGS Media Validator, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, ArdentSky, Max Loader, Chipmax, CBIOS writer, ImageDOM, FED EX Ship Manager, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office, Bluberi USB KWASH, Z-Clone SSD Duplicator, Xi-Trade SATADOM Duplicator, EPROM Programmers and Firmware uploading tools.
• Audits the hardware/software inventory to ensure integrity and compliance
• Provides user orientation to AGS field technicians on hardware and software products
• Other duties, as assigned

Skills & Requirements

• Associates Degree or higher preferred in a related field or equivalent work experience
• 2 years’ experience in handling or creating casino gaming related software
• This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate
• Must pass pre-screening/background check
• Strong understanding of and willingness to learn new methods for creating and verifying gaming related software
• The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical professionals
• Works well in a fast-paced environment of high technology professionals
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Products
• Experience with tracking systems such as ArdentSky, NAV or similar systems
• Federal Express ExpressShip experience
