We are growing and have an immediate opportunity for a Community Manager in our property of Eaton Square Apartments located in Alexandria, VA - 416units


You will be the leader in creating customer service programs for external and internal customers, including developing a work environment that ensures customer service activities and enhances its value to the organization. You will set renewals, market rent increases, and rent levels to maximize lease rent potential and occupancy based on market surveys and analysis. You will actively participate in asset management performance decisions and the scheduling of capital expenditures and set property goals according to the needs of occupancy and rent collections.


Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a passion for continuous learning that may include participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of this apartment community
  • Build a strong team while adhering to common goals and objectives
  • Oversee budgeting, risk management, financial reporting and tracking, marketing, human resources
  • Execute the property's financial plan and operating budget
  • Set renewals, market rent increases, and rent levels to maximize lease rent potential and occupancy
  • Actively participate in asset management performance decisions and the scheduling of capital expenditures and set property goals according to the needs of occupancy and rent collections

Experience and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for continuous learning that may include participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
  • Five years of experience in Property Management is required
  • Knowledge in Property Management Software Onesite preferably, Microsoft Office, Teams, Adobe
  • Customer service, leadership and teamwork skills
  • Marketing experience
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English is highly desired
