Monday – Friday, 7:00A-3:00P (flexible)

Qualifications:
- Clean & Valid NYS Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist consumers with all ADL needs including, but not limited to, feeding, transferring, lifting, toileting, dressing (coats), etc., as per consumer’s protocols.
- Ensure needs of consumers are being met including but not limited to their safety and well-being.
- Assist Community Coach with consumers exploring sites, participating in activities, and integrating in the community.
- Drive consumers to and from program in AM and/or PM.

Department Details:
The Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County is a nonprofit, multi-faceted health agency serving over 1,500 children and adults with cerebral palsy, developmental and other disabilities.
Day Habilitation is a year-round program serving individuals ages 21 and older who are developmentally disabled. Day Hab is a community outreach program where trained and qualified individuals with developmental disabilities provide local non- profit businesses with community service. Participants in this program learn new skills, build relationships and develop self-esteem through the concept of volunteerism.
