Commercial Plumbing Project Manager Job at The LFS Group

The LFS Group is looking for a experienced Plumbing Project Manager to manage industrial plumbing, maintenance, and repair projects. This position requires the experience and expertise to judge and ensure the quality of work, as well as provide technical assistance and meet schedule expectations. You will be responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers and trade partners. You must possess the skills required to create materials list, coordinate the ordering of supplies, supervise employees, and maintain a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and company safety systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (to include but not limited to):

  • Manage, schedule, and plan complete commercial plumbing installation projects.
  • Inspect, advise, and supervise the installation of projects from start to completion.
  • Maintain records and files, prepare reports, assign, and distribute work orders/requests.
  • Attend and participate in job and safety meetings regarding work to be done
  • Supervise employees, ensuring Safety training requirements are current, and required company policies are being followed.
  • Maintain open and positive communication with Trade Partners.
  • Manage Sub-contractors, ensuring work done meets contract and company requirements.
  • Keep up to date with all company policy and procedures, industry standards and government regulations.
  • Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA and industry standards and company Safety protocols.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing projects
  • Proficiency using knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
  • Plumbing underground to a functional system.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other trades.
  • Must have team building skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal, presentation and listening communication skills.
  • Effective negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Proficient computer and analytical skills, adept learning new
  • Time Management and Stress Management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
