Commercial Plumbing Estimator

Airco Mechanical, one of Central Texas' largest mechanical contractors is now hiring a commercial plumbing estimator for our San Antonio office. 100% in office (work from home maybe available after skills and knowledge have been properly acquired)

Candidates will be expected to pass a drug screening, a light physical exam and background check.

Primary Responsibilities: Perform take-off on plumbing projects according to systems. Proper identification of material, fixtures & equipment as related to drawings & specifications.

KEY FUNCTIONS TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Thoroughly review drawings and specifications for all necessary information relevant to project.

· Perform on-screen take-off using AutoBid Mechanical estimating software.

· Support Sales Team as required.

· Perform additional assignments as requested and or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School graduate or equivalent.

· Minimum 2-5 years plumbing (in field or office) experience.

· Intermediate or advanced computer skills.

· Working knowledge of plumbing pipe, fittings, and basic plumbing construction standards.

· Ability to perform take-off at a high level of detail and understanding.

· Successfully meet or exceed deadlines.

· Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain expected daily production.

· Ability to communicate with other estimators, sales team, and or Airco team as needed.

Advanced Qualifications Requested but not required:

· Proficient with Blue Beam (PDF viewing)

· Proficient with MS Outlook (emails)

· Proficient with MS Team (communications and assignments)

· Proficient with AutoBid Mechanical (estimating software)

Training for estimating software will be provided initially, once a week training opportunity will also be available.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
