Job description
Performs commercial collection duties, which include making collection calls, sending collection emails, providing invoice copies, escalating invoice disputes to sales team for resolution, researching customer payments, assist with statement process by providing details and or invoice copies to customers upon request and billing electronic invoices via customer portals.
- Contact past due accounts/collections for all company locations.
- Follow and keep updated company Credit Policy and follow terms and conditions.
- Bi-Monthly follow up of friendly reminders and electronic statements through Outlook
- Collection calls daily for past due accounts 31 days plus.
- Answer customer questions about invoices and do research needed on billing questions
- Send service hold notices for failure to pay accounts
- Update Credit Status as past due accounts are brought current.
- Make very detailed notes on all calls, emails, etc. for each account
o Keep records of Customers responses in Journals
- Maintain current accounts receivable aging. Keep aging clean, clearing up unapplied payments in line with our terms and conditions.
- Escalate disputes and customer inquiries to sales team for a speedy resolve.
o Daily, as payments come in, call customers if there are questions for proper application or refund.
- Electronic invoicing
o Invoice customers electronically via customer portals
o Assist with service billing when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
