Shift: 1st M-F 8AM-5PM

Rate: $65K-90K

Role Summary:

The Milling Specialist will be responsible for daily operations on the manufacturing shop floor. This includes participating in all manufacturing duties such as; process planning, machine setup, machine operation, part piece inspection, and all other related tasks. The Milling Specialist must have deep understanding of milling. Manufacturing disciplines that are outside of the applicant's current skill set may be cross trained by peers in the manufacturing department. This is a regular, full-time, salaried, exempt position. The Milling Specialist reports directly to the Director of Engineering.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Review parts for manufacturing processes and strategy

• Set up CNC machining centers for required operations

• Operate CNC Machines (Various Controls and OS)

• Measure parts with inspection equipment to validate geometry

• Maintain a clean and efficient work area on the shop floor

• Assemble various mold platforms

Required Qualifications + Skills:

• 3-5 years of previous manufacturing experience operating CNC equipment

• Capability to utilize micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment

• Attentiveness to detail, follow-up procedures, and ability to document action in ERP system

• Able to assemble molding components with assistance pf mold experts

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Demonstrated ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff at all levels

• Self-motivated to achieve project excellence on a daily basis

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
