CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant, 3-day Week - 12-hour shifts!! Job at Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility

We are hiring an experienced, caring CNA to join our team at Bourne Manor working 7am – 7pm or 7pm - 7am (36 hours per week). These 12-hour shifts are Thursday through Monday (choose your 3 days between Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon). If you choose to work any additional shifts during the week, you will be paid overtime for those shifts (hours worked over 40).

Bourne Manor offers Full-time CNA's the opportunity to return to school to earn your nursing degree at no cost to you. We pay the full cost for your nursing degree (if you decide to return to school for nursing)

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist residents with daily activities, such as:

  • Bathing and dressing
  • Serving meals and helping residents eat
  • Re-positioning patients who are bedridden
  • Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and doctors
  • Assisting with transporting residents
  • Answering call lights
  • Examining residents for injuries/wounds
  • Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas
  • Changing bed sheets and restocking rooms with necessary supplies

Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts CNA license in good standing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public
