Position Title: Global Security Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Status: Direct Hire, HYBRID

Our client is in search of a Global Security Manager to join their team. This software solutions company is looking for someone who will be responsible for the protection of company information and cloud applications against security threats. The successful candidate will manage a team of security engineers (local and offshore) and interact with stakeholders throughout the organization. Job Description:

· Ensure proper defenses and incident response processes for the protection against, and containment of, information security incidents.

· Continuously drive security improvements and protections throughout the company.

· Coordinate and lead technical resources in the design and implementation of security controls

· Operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all areas of information security

· Enhance the security of infrastructure, systems, and services and employ best practices for security designs and configurations.

· Review and approve or reject requests for system and configuration changes related to security protections, and audit access for third parties.

· Advise and mentor security engineers and operators on secure design and configuration practices for new and existing systems and infrastructure

· Participate in project review meetings, ensuring standard best practice designs are utilized

· Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data and systems residing on or transmitted to/from/through the organization's systems

· Identify potential processes that may require enhanced security controls & develop a remediation plan

· Assess risks to the company environment, guiding recommendations for improvements as needed

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems or comparable experience

· CISSP certification required (CISM acceptable in lieu of CISSP)

· Cloud, CEH, CHFI, SSCP or Security+ highly desired

· Expertise in network, security, server, directory services (MS AD), and cloud systems (Azure/Amazon/Google/Oracle)

· Thorough understanding of vulnerability management tools and services

· An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors

· Strong knowledge of NIST, CIS Top 20, and ISO 27001 controls

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
