Essential Functions

  • Ensure all cloud solutions meet the firms stringent security, records management, data privacy, and data residency requirements
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to the IT engineering team
  • Participate in all aspects of cloud-based solutions including planning, requirements, development, implementation, testing, and quality assurance
  • Ensure network and data security
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve incidents, provide root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  • Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they affect business productivity
  • Design, implement, and maintain on premises and cloud-based infrastructure to run services and applications that are highly available and scalable
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation runbooks
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Skills/Abilities

  • 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure platforms
  • Excellent technical knowledge of networking, operating systems, utilities, and management tools
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Office365
  • Strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies
  • Fully understand the concepts of Infrastructure as Code
  • Expertise using one or more languages (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Java, and git)
  • Experience in cloud management and micro-service architecture
  • Understanding of networking, including, BGP, internet routing, and the difference between transit and peering
  • Knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, Firewall, DLP, and hybrid/Cloud Security environments

This job operates in a professional office environment with the ability to work from home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Because this position will be handling client information, employees must work from a home office and not a public location during any remote periods. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and copiers.
