Position Overview: The Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist will be responsible for timely and accurate payable and receivable functions related to the company. The AP/AR Specialist will be an experienced team player with excellent customer service skills. This position requires the ability to manage and analyze complex and high volumes of data and be detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Invoice processing- research and entry
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with appropriate department
• Process and code vendor invoices
• Reconcile monthly statements with vendors
• Monitor accounts and identify customers outside of terms
• Make collection calls to verify status of delinquent accounts and note agreements in system and send to customer
• Work to resolve vendor/customer issues promptly and professionally
• Work with sales department to set up new customers in a timely and efficient manner including review credit application from customer and recommending credit limits with manager and/or CFO
• Apply checks/ACH payments to customer accounts
• Utilize portal to process payments from customers
• Collect W9s and other documentation to ensure authorized payments
• Prepare daily receivable deposits
• Provide support to others as required

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience of hands-on AP/AR experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to handle large volume of transactions in a fast paced but accurate manner
• Good written and oral communication skills Positive team attitude

Work Schedule

• This position is fulltime Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• This position is fully onsite in the Toledo, OH office
