Gloster in South Boston, Virginia, is searching for Client Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team. The Client Engagement Manager will lead the Customer Service and Quality teams; responsible for ensuring orders are entered and processed as quickly and efficiently as possible as well as the overall quality experience.
The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills, including a sense of urgency and the ability to effectively communicate both, verbally and in writing. The candidate should be able to lead the teams by thinking outside the box to challenge, motivate, develop and hold accountable, his/her employees.

Key Responsibilities include: *

• Provide an outstanding level of customer service to external and internal customers
• Establish a high level of professionalism with customers
• Stay educated on product knowledge and new lines
• Work with account managers to resolve any escalated customer service/ quality issues that arise

to create a positive customer experience

• Develop and hold accountable team members
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments regarding orders, special requests and time sensitive issues.

Skills/Qualifications: *

• Associates degree required
• Must have strong Analytical Skills and the ability to multitask
• Manage a diverse team
• +3 years customer service/client engagement experience
• Friendly personality, understands high end product, is able to speak with wealthy clients and accommodate their needs, but keeping in mind the policies and practices of the company
• Ability to diffuse an unhappy client
• Proficient in Microsoft Products

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Time will be spent sitting and/or standing at computer desk and working with computers. Time may be spent walking the warehouse floor as well as lifting product as needed. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
Work Environment: Work will primarily be performed in an office environment. Must be able to also work in a production warehouse environment which may not be climate controlled. The environment may also be dusty and/or exposure to fiber particles. Ability to work a varied schedule when necessary and overtime as scheduled.
