Classroom Aide Job at Ability Beyond Disability (NY)
Position location: Chappaqua, NY (Westchester County- right off of the Saw Mill River Parkway)
Pay rate: $17/hour and $2000 sign on bonus
Hours: M-F, 8:30am-4pm
Valid Driver's License Required
Our Adult Day Program is looking for staff eager to join our team! Several entry level opportunities available working hands on in classrooms or independently out in the community (WOW/ Without Walls).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Passion for helping others
- No experience needed!
Responsibilities:
- Assist adult individuals in a classroom setting.
- Integrate individuals into the community to participate in recreational, leisure, and/or volunteer activities.
- Role model socialization skills for individuals.
- Assist individuals with daily living such as personal care.
- Transport individuals to and from day program and/or recreational outings.
- Help individuals achieve their goals based on their preferences and abilities.
