Daniels Tire Service is a family owned and operated business here in Southern CA for over 110+ years. We're currently looking to add an experienced Class A - Route Delivery Driver to our Team.

Qualified candidates must have:

· Current Class A -CA Drivers' License /Commercial

· Endorsements for Double Trailers

· Experience driving Manual Transmission Rigs

· DOT program participation

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate should be prepared to deliver & pick and help load and unload New and Used Commercial Truck tires as well as Passenger & Light Truck tires. Deliveries are made to our Daniels Tire Service store locations throughout Southern CA. This is a Labor intensive job, heavy lifting is required and a regular function of the job. .

This position may require damaged/out of service vehicle transport on a flatbed from time to time. When company fleet vehicles need service/auto body repair (service trucks) they may need to be transported from one location to another.

Applicants we select for hire, will go through our hire processes which include:

· Completing an Integrity test

· Completing a background check

· Completing a DOT driving history, drug screen, and physical.

This position reports to: Logistics Manager/Operations Manager.

Pay Range: Starts at $30.00/hr. + (D.O.E)

Work Schedule:

• Morning/Day shift
• Monday - Friday
• No nights/ No Weekends

Trucking driver type:

• Local routes:
• North to Bakersfield/Oxnard
• South to Escondido/Chula Vista/El Centro
• East to Riverside/Indio/Bermuda Dunes
• Local

Experience:

• Class A driving/Tractor Trailer: minimum 2 years required
• DOT: 2 years – required
• This is a Labor intensive job, heavy lifting is required during loading and unloading at certain locations. It’s a regular function of the job.

License/Certification:

• CDL A required – Commercial
