The Director of Christian Education will work on a regular basis with the pastor and the Board of Christian Education to develop a Sunday school work plan which includes specific, measurable, and time-delineated goals for each calendar year. In this role, the Director will: 1) Develop learning resources for children, youth, and adult. 2) Recruit, train, and serve as a resource for volunteer Sunday school teachers. 3) Lead our children's sermon on Sunday mornings. 3) Plan and organize age-appropriate activities for our children. 4) Provide regular written and/or electronic communication to parents/church family through monthly newsletter articles. Furthermore, the person who fills this role must be creative, coachable, and a team player. The Schedule for this position is as follows: Sundays 9:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.; 3rd Tuesdays of the Month (Council Meetings) 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.; 3rd Wednesdays of the Month (Team Meetings) 6:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.; and must have office hours one day per week.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
