Children's Counselor II School Based (Licensed Professional) Job at Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers
A. Under general direction, provides outpatient services to children and families in our Carter County office.
B. Participates in the planning and delivery of therapeutic clinical services to consumers and families in a wraparound team approach.
C. Completes assessments, integrated treatment planning, and therapy services to an assigned caseload of children and families.
D. Assigned part-time to a Carter County school district to provide assessment, group therapy, and individual therapy to students from Pre-K through high school as referred by school personnel.
E. Provide consultation and training to school personnel regarding trauma, suicide prevention, and education regarding behavioral health issues in the classroom.

A. Completion of the curriculum requirements of a Master’s degree in a mental health or substance abuse related field from an accredited university and two (2) years experience in a professional capacity involving the delivery of clinical service or, any equivalent combination of education and experience.
B. Oklahoma State Licensure as a LPC, LBP, LMFT, LCSW or LADC-MH.
C. Considerable skill in working with people, in effectively treating social, emotional and addiction problems, in expressing ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral form, in exercising good judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions.
D. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance.
