Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Job at North Valley Hospital District
North Valley Hospital, an integrated provider having a critical access hospital, rural health clinic and nursing home located in Tonasket, WA, is recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer.
Position:
Reporting to the CEO, the CFO plans, organizes, directs and controls all activities related to financial reporting, financial strategy, and treasury matters. This key individual contributes to planning, management and contract negotiations. The CFO is responsible for overall budget process, accounting and reporting, reimbursement, long-term capital financing, fiscal controls, compliance to laws, regulations, and quality improvement processes in financial management functions. This position manages Health Information Management, the Revenue Cycle (admitting, claims, collections, contract negotiations and the Chargemaster), and the Purchasing/Central Supply departments.
Experience/qualifications:
- An experienced leader and financial executive with healthcare industry experience that includes a minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in hospital financial management with oversight of the revenue cycle, health information management, purchasing and inventory management and finance functions;
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, Masters degree preferred;
- Professional level knowledge of accounting, finance, treasury, reimbursement, budgeting, credit and collection as relates to healthcare
This individual selected for this position will begin in May/June 2023 as the current CFO transitions to retirement.
