SilverLink Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistants & Home Health Aids for Home Care in the Jacksonville, FL area.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aid (HHA), you will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to clients in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as the registries' established nursing care policies and procedures. Reports to Administrator.

SilverLink Home Care is a private duty in-home service that provides assistance with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene. Other services include companion care, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and transportation to doctor’s appointment, errands, etc.

Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to lift, turn, and move position, and transport clients, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores.
  • Observe clients’ conditions, measure and record food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to professional staff.
  • Provide clients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
  • Must be able to assist clients with baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting.
  • Transport clients using their car to appointments or run errands etc.
  • Must be able to assist in the evacuation of clients.
  • Prepare, serve, and collect food and clean up.
  • Deliver messages and documents.
  • Perform clerical duties such as daily documentation and detailing client’s condition.
  • Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

SKILLS and ABILITIES
  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Computer Skills: Must be able to interact with automated client information collection system
  • Current CPR from an instructor approved to provide training by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
  • Certificates and Licenses: Must be a graduate of a state-approved CNA program
