Pivot Onsite Innovations, a leading provider of occupational health services, has an opening for an experienced, self driven compassionate Medical Assistant. The part time Medical Assistant position will provide coverage for our client's distribution center in Atlantic City New Jersey on-site healthcare clinic. Great schedule: Sunday 8am - 4pm and Monday 9am - 5pm!

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant (MA) performs routine administrative and patient care supportive duties in the client occupational health clinic. The Medical Assistant assists the medical staff in the examination and treatment of patients and ensures the office runs smoothly.

Your typical day includes:

• Answering the telephone, greeting personnel, scheduling appointments, updating charts, handling correspondence, updating/filing all patient records, preparing all charts for the following day’s clinic appointments, and ordering supplies
• Logging all incoming accident reports and submitting to insurance carrier for claim numbers
• Scheduling outside medical referrals/diagnostic testing as requested by the medical provider, assuring all outside notes/diagnostic reports are received
• Assuring health questionnaires, consents for the physical, panel lists, DOT physical forms, and Hearing Conservation Program paperwork are filled out
• Obtaining consent for and completing all urine drug and breath alcohol testing
• Documenting vital signs/urinalysis notes, performing hearing/vision screens as needed

You are a great fit if you:

• Have current CPR/First Aid certifications
• Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a medical assistant (Preferred)
• Have a medical assistant certification (Preferred)
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with client and employees
