CDL A Truck Driver- Night Shift Job at Century Plastics / CIE USA
Century Plastics / CIE USA Shelby Charter Township, MI 48315
Primary Purpose:
The truck driver ensures that all deliveries are on time and accurate and also makes sure the delivery truck is in good working order regularly. The rest of the job consists of working in the warehouse helping with general duties, receiving inventory and shipping finished product. This position will be for local deliveries.
Essential Functions:
- Perform inspection of forklift and delivery truck vehicle at start of shift and report any issues immediately to your supervisor
- Properly secure freight for shipment to customers
- Moved finished product from CIE Plant to CIE Plant daily
- Loading and Unloading trucks with forklift
- Keep warehouse clean and orderly, store material and packaging components in designated areas
- Notify warehouse supervisor of any shortages
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Drivers License
- Clean Driving Record
- 2+ years truck driver experience
- 2+ years shipping/receiving experience
- 2+ years hi-lo forklift experience
- 2+ years Drop and Hooking experience
- Must be able to work night shift
Physical Requirements:
- sitting, bending, lifting, kneeling, driving
