Job Title: Strong Fathers Case Aide
Background:
Forestdale is a NYC child welfare agency working to prevent child abuse/neglect through parenting, prevention, and foster care services, focusing on low-income and immigrant communities in NYC. Forestdale operates out of three offices to better serve the families of Brooklyn and Queens. Salary Range: $21.97/hr. to $25.82/hr.
Job Summary
The Strong Fathers Case Aide is primarily responsible for organizing and entering program data and activities in the program’s online system of record. S/he will monitor program communications with weekly activities and will ensure all components are organized to the program’s online tracking system for data compilation. Furthermore, under the direction of the Director of Strong Fathers, the Case Aide will support front line program operations and conduct initial outreach to prospective participants, as determined by program leadership, based on program need.
Major Responsibilities/Activities
- Complete data entry into the program system of record by:
- Creating client profiles for new registrants
- Entering all encounters, program contacts, and service completion information
- Issue certifications and graduation letters to program clients who have completed services.
- Monitor the program email for information that will inform data entry and record keeping.
- Meet with the program director, as needed, for supervision and direction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
- At least 1 year of work
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Online data systems preferred.
