Responsibilities:

The Caregiver (PCA) will become a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a local life care manager and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. The Caregiver is responsible for following the daily care plan, observing client activities accordingly, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.

Required Qualifications:

• CNA required
• 10 + years of caregiving experience required (Home Care, Assisted Living/Memory Care, Skilled Nursing/Nursing Home, Hospital, or Hospice).
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to pass a written and skill competency examination.
• Ability to use a smartphone or tablet
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
• Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene.
• Must be a Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and is in good working order.
