Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: Medical Assistants encourgaged to apply.
Provides appropriate direct and indirect patient care through provision of clerical and/or direct patient contact tasks as a nursing assistant. Maintains adequate supply of forms, charts and office supplies as needed. Assists with supply stocking, delivery and reordering as delegated. Provides direct and indirect care to patients under direction of RN as appropriately delegated. Assists with delegated tasks during admission, transport and discharge of patients. Verifies proper patient identification, transports surgical patients to and from the operating room and peri-operative areas. Provides directions to patients, their families and visitors in a concise, informative and positive manner referring them to appropriate person or waiting room.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CMS requires that health care staff be Covid-19 vaccinated or Religious and Medical Exemptions will be required.
