An established chemical manufacturer is on the search for an experienced MRP Buyer/Analyst to join their team on a long-term project! This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the leaders in the industry!
The candidate in this position will report directly to the Purchasing Director and will be responsible for analyzing MRP, executing all aspects of tactical purchasing as well as maintaining system data integrity.
Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Consistently analyze supply and demand, understand market dynamics such as logistics and supply challenges, ensure on-time deliveries for the proper quantities.
- Regularly update and maintain master data accuracy.
- Capable of developing effective working relationships to support stakeholders.
- Keeping stakeholders informed of supply issues and potential resolutions.
- Identify and qualify alternate suppliers to solve supply issues.
- Actively participate in relevant education/training based upon corporate and local environmental objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years’ MRP experience is a must.
- Knowledge in the following industries is an advantage: flavors and fragrances, CPG companies, chemicals, and other raw materials.
- Must be proficient in Excel and/or SAP and is a regular use of these applications.
- Excellent analytical skills.
